About the event
Enjoy this 4.5-km out-and-back trail up Kincumba Mountain. Generally considered a moderately challenging, Grade 3 route, it takes an average of 2-2.5hrs to complete, plus a stop for lunch. First up, we walk through lush sub-tropical rainforest, and spectacular Angophora forest/ rocky outcrops with views to the coast. Soon after we arrive at the beautiful open green that is Honeman's Rock picnic area, which includes the Old Mud Brick Kiosk (not in operation). We will then take a little detour out to see the hidden Kanning Cave. After we have explored the cave and surrounds, we will return to the picnic area, for a spot of lunch. If you haven't done this walk before, it is a bit of a workout, but it's definitely worth the effort.
This walk is considered Moderate/Grade 3.
